Most people usually cringe when you hear the word root canal. That is beause it usually associated with pain and significant costs. Teeth can suddenly become painful when they are infected and abcessed causing an immediate trip to the dentist to take care if the infection and pain. After the root canal is done the tooth is usually given a protective crown or cap. These can be very expensive.
You may want to consider the option of seeing a dentist in a foreign country for care. You could have the crown procedure done at greatly reduced costs or if your dentist tells you that a tooth will need a root canal in the near future you could do both procedures in a foreign country and really save some of your hard earned money. This saving could be used to finance a vacation in the country you choose to go to or you could simply pocket the money. Personally, I like the vacation but it’s your choice!
