As dental tourism and dental vacations grow we will continue to see more and more countries explore the business and economic opportunites available. Croatia is now trying to establish itsself as a player in the competitive market of low cost – high standard of care treatment. To begin with their efforts will focus on dentistry, cosmetic surgery, spas and health resorts, not hospital care.
Medical Group was recently formed to bring together 36 private clinics, dentists and surgeons looking to cater to foreign patients and promote the healthcare tourism in Croatia. The group is very confident that they can be competitive in every aspect of health care and dental care. The group also plans to build a state-of-the-art facility on the coast. The project has already gained interest amoung investors as a facility on the coast will more readily attract the health care tourist and dental vacationer.
